Thanks to all who have been involved in this project. Looks like an excellent
resource - I look forward to seeing it in action very soon.

Hello,
Since there has been discussion about putting things here and there on the
web, I thought I'd let you know that Sharon Peterson has created a first
pass version of a PIUG web page, although it is not yet ready for release.
Elyse Robinson has successfully navigated the waters of the
powers-of-the-web to secure a unique URL for the PIUG. I have been working
with the folks at Derwent to set up a web-based archive of all the messages
that have been sent to the PIUG list for the past few years. Eventually we
hope to also be able to include the messages that were sent to the DialMail
bulletin board in this archive as well.

So there is a great deal of activity behind the scenes to create a more
substantial presence for the PIUG on the web. These features are not yet
ready for release, but we have made substantial progress. All of these
features will be formally announced as soon as possible.
