I have also tried the Mac version of MicroPatent's patent image viewer
and it worked fine. The only bug I found so far occurs when you
retrieve an earlier order. The viewer brings the file to your Mac and
recognizes that you already have that file (order #) on your machine
and then seems to rename it with a random (?) four digit number. The
viewer, seeing that four digit number after the .gpz (29503.gpz-9462)
and not recognizing the extension, tells you it can't open the file
because it is not the "right kind of document". I've been told by
someone who knows more about Macs than I do that they will add those
four digits to a file when it finds another file with the same name
already there.

I had gone back to retrieve an earlier order just to make sure all of
my settings for the viewer were correct, but if an order gets
corrupted on transmission, etc and you need to get an order again you
should delete the old file first.

I've already contacted MicroPatent about this and they are working on
it.
