The British Patent Office began publishing a representative drawing of
each of its newly registered industrial designs on the 15 October 1997
in a new weekly publication, "Designs in view".

There is little information other than the drawing (no address
information, or priority or nationality data) but it is the first time
that we have been able to see the designs other than through personal
application. There are no indexes.

If anyone is interested contact the enquiries person, Christine
Farrington, on christine.farrington@patent.gov.uk. It costs =A3230.

I have sent her a letter asking about things I am not happy about, such
as how it will be indexed: a summary of my letter and the reply will
appear on the PATMG website.
