Re correspondence between Barbara Maletz, Schering-Plough Research
Institute, and Roy Zimmermann, Medtronic. Derwent receives
Certificates of Correction from the various Patent Issuing Authorities
on a regular basis. Bibliographic amendments are actioned immediately,
so that the DWPI files have the corrected data and show any changes in
family relationships that may have resulted. In cases where
significant changes in the claims are reported, the Derwent records are
reissued. These instances are extremely rare.
