I have been charged with developing some guidelines for an archiving policy.
We are a samll biotechnology firm and the policy is supposed to cover all
"archivable" documentation, from finance/administration to research lab
notebooks, clinical trial documentation and regulatory documents. It is
also to give retention schedules, retrieval access, storage media, if
applicable, etc.

Does anyone have any information that he/she is willing or able to share
with me on such a daunting subject?
