As reported earlier, the Derwent WPI file has not been covering
Japanese PCT transfer applications (JP-W and JP-X) since the end of
1995 because of a data extraction problem with the CD-ROM source
data.
This problem is now resolved and our catch-up schedule is to publish
approximately 1000 JP-W and 70 JP-X in each of the following Derwent
Weeks: - 9642, 9643, 9644, 9645, 9646, 9648, 9650, 9702.
This schedule has excluded those Derwent Weeks where there are already
large volumes of Japanese publications. Further dates will be issued
for coverage of the remainder of the backlog when the publication
volumes from Japan are known.
