We use an HP IVSi printer with the optional duplex kit installed. Once this
is in place, certain additional menu options in the Printing menu are
enabled, notably the "Binding offset" ; this can be set to "Long side" or
"short side", but not apparently to "off".
We have experienced problems recently with some of the ESPACE-WO pages
losing a slice from the right hand edge of the page on printing. I suspect
that some of this is due to the standard of scanning, since older disks
appear to be better centred and print OK, but the problem is not being
helped by the forcing of the binding offset.
Can anyone tell me whether I am barking up the wrong tree on this, or have
you experienced a similar problem. Do you know of a solution ?
