Evaluation of a Patent Portfolio -Reply

I met an attorney two years ago who I believe specialized in
evaluation of patent portfolios. Her name is below. I'm also curious,
what is the difference between the worth of a patent vs. the worth of
the technology? A technology does have some value beyond the patent,
because there are other aspects to any technology beyond the teaching
of given patent. Also, a patent's teaching does not become worthless
when the patent expires - a firm may still practice the invention
without patent protection. However, there may be situations where a
key patent ties up a technology and prevents others from practicing
it that technology at all.

The attorney is:

area)

I am looking for information on evaluating a patent portfolio as a
financial asset where the worth of the patents themselves is
evaluated independently of the worth of the technology they cover.
Each patent in each country will require individual assessment but
are there any underlying principles that can be used? If anyone has
any experience in this field or can guide me to any papers, etc. on
the subject, I should be very pleased to hear from them.
Thank you
