Database Vendors are Upgrading their Web Pages

Hi,
I had not taken a look at the vendors' web pages in a while and I was
pleasantly surprised to see that they have been busy building an electronic
knowledge base. I especially applaud STN for making the catalog and some
training materials available in electronic format. Both Dialog and STN are
now providing their respective newsletters in HTML format on their web
pages. I just took a training course titled "Advanced Patent searching on
STN" and would love to see the workbook from this class in HTML format on
the STN web site. My goal is to throw away all the mountains of paper in my
office and avoid the need to constantly update it. I'd like to just go to
the web site and quickly browse and/or print the few pages of documentation
I need for a particular job. The Adobe format that STN is using will print
picture perfect copies of documents. I used Adobe last year to print an
income tax form I needed and it was as good as an original from the post
office. With all the hard work the vendors are putting into their web
pages, they deserve a fresh look!
