I've always found Derwent 's 'Global Patent Sources' (current edition February
1999) an invaluable source of information relating to the patent-issuing
authorities covered in the Derwent World Patents Index, and it does give useful
patent opposition information for these countries.

Grayce

Subject: Oppositions
Can anyone tell me a convenient resource that would let me find opposition
information for a number of countries? What I want to know is 1) whether
one can oppose patents, 2) at what stage one can do this (e.g., after
publication of the B-document, as in the case of the EPO), and 3) how long
the opposition period is?
Countries of interest are Australia, South Africa, Norway, Japan, Singapore,
and Taiwan.
Thanks!
Nancy Lambert
