Netscape crashes rather easily. This is particularly a problem when
you have several browsers windows open at once. (I usually have
at least 4.) Netscape runs in a single instance and in a single
process memory space. So when one window crashes, they all
do. And when you crash out of QPat, you can't get back on
for an hour.
I also use Netscape for email for the same reason. When
Microsoft Exchange crashes, you lose everything, so we
do not use Microsoft for email.
On the other hand, IE does not crash so easily and when
it does, only one window goes out. You don't lose what is
in the other windows.
So I use Netscape with one window for QPat, which is a
stable, well-behaved site, and IE for the other browser
windows.
