Questel-Orbit: Change in Orbit Access

This weekend, on June 20, 1999, we will be making
modifications to Orbit access through Sprintnet, Tymnet, and
telnet. These changes are a first step in giving you a quicker
more reliable access into both the Orbit and Questel-Orbit
online services through our Common Access Menu.

This change will only affect those connecting directly into
Orbit and not those already accessing our services through
Common Access.

The network access and NUAs that will be affected are:
Network NUA
---------- ------
Sprintnet ORBIT
ORBITE (European users)
Tymnet ORBIT
Telnet ORBIT.COM

The networks and NUAs will not change, but instead of taking
you directly into Orbit, they will connect you to the Common
Access Menu. From there you can select the Orbit or
Questel-Orbit services.

---------
Common Access Menu:
O - ORBIT
Q - QUESTEL.ORBIT
I - QUESTEL.ORBIT IMAGES Gif/Tiff
D - DARC ONLINE
M - MARKUSH DARC
C - Change your mode to 8 BITS /CZ - Change to 8 bits and
ZMODEM
X - EXIT
Choice / Choix
---------

Very Important...
If you are accessing Orbit through one of listed networks and
NUAs using connection scripts, they will have to be modified.

The Common Access Menu can be used today through
Sprintnet, Tymnet, and telnet using the following networks
and NUAs.

Network NUA
---------- ------
Sprintnet QSTL
QSTLE (European users)
Tymnet QSTL11
Telnet QUESTEL.QUESTEL.FR

Please call your local Questel-Orbit Help Desk for further
assistance.
