Quite apart from the strike affecting the St Pancras site, the Holborn
reading room will be closed Friday 12 March to help in the book move. It
is hoped to provide some service of material from the Holborn building
to Chancery House on that day.

The first move of patents will begin on the 22 March, beginning withe
the vault material most distant from the reading room. Personal access
will sometimes not be possible to some vaults while moves are going on
(not just those directly affected).

It is best for those visiting occasionally to ring up before any visit
to ensure that material of interest is available on-site.
