This talk of a salary survey by PIUG sounds interesting would it be a
global survey? Would it include breakdowns by:

region/country?

industry sector e.g. pharmaceutical, specialty chemicals + other
industries?

type of practice i.e. in-house vs consultancy/private practice?

nature of work i.e. searcher/information scientist, patent/trademark
attorney, examiner

age/experience?

Please feel free to use these suggestions.

I believe PIUG is planning another salary survey this year. Can anyone on
the committee give a brief progress report?
