Derwent Information is pleased to announce a new seminar for spring 1999:
The Impact of International Patents on your Organization. This seminar is
designed for professionals in your organization who need to understand the
importance of utilizing international patent information in patent
prosecution and in making other business-critical decisions. The agenda
includes a discussion of why the USPTO loaded Derwent's World Patents
Index (DWPI) in-house and how DWPI is used by the examiners to locate
international prior art relevant to the patent application being examined.
The seminar is free of charge, runs from 9 am to 12 noon and includes a
continental breakfast.
