The WIPO web site, http://www.wipo.org includes a list of all countries in
which the PCT application may be used. None of the four countries of
interest are named there. Choose 'Status of Ratifications' from the 'PCT
System' page for the full list of countries and effective dates.

The 'Links' page includes address and contact information for each of the
four countries, but no web addresses. I did confirm that
http://www.uspto.gov shows up for the United States, so WIPO apparently
includes an internet address if they are aware of one.

Subject: Chile, Columbia, Ecuador or Venezuela patent info. available onli
ne?

Dear PIUG readers:

I'm having difficulty finding any patent information about Chile,
Columbia, Ecuador or Venezuela. Do these countries belong to a regional
patent office (similar to ARIPO or OAPI)? Since they're not listed in
INPADOC or WPI's country code lists, I'm hoping that there may be an
Internet site where I can search for patent applications/patents
published/granted in these 4 countries. Can these 4 countries be
designated on a PCT or EP application?
Can anyone help with some URLs or other information?
Thanks, Diane Kozelka
