At the time of the American Chemical Society National Meeting, INPI and
RCG will present a training session to help customers transition from
the IBM mainframe to the new UNIX-based system. Lunch will follow the
session.

QuestelžOrbit Basics Refresher Training

This seminar will highlight the Q•O command language, especially those
commands essential for transferring and enhancing your MMS search
results. Q•O system features and the Imagination software will be
reviewed. Special emphasis will be placed on the advantages of using
the Questel•Orbit system.

 

Seminar will include:

¨ Use of Boolean, proximity, and truncation search operators

¨ Combining search statements

¨ Publication/Application/Priority number formatting

¨ Cross-file searching techniques using the MEM command

¨ Subject/keyword and assignee/inventor searching

¨ Displaying search results

¨ Special Display commands – LEGAL, PLUS, etc.

¨ Where to get help and documentation
