Question regarding Chinese and Taiwanese patents

I am posting this for Jackie Grossman, who for some reason is being
prevented from subscribing to the list.

Please respond directly to her.


If one has the number, ZL 2003 20126749, what is the correct patent
number to search for in various databases. I know ZL in Chinese Patent
publications mean "Zuan Li", "Patent" in Chinese and that it is only
used for issued patents. What I need to figure out is how to arrive =
at
the Chinese patent number from the string above.

Also, has anyone come across a Taiwan patent in the following format:
M251582.
