RE: Italian patent status

Unfortunately is not generally possible to obtain the legal status of
Italian patents in a quick and straightforward way (there are some
exceptions, though), for the simple reason that, as far as I =
understand,
the Italian Patent Office itself has considerable troubles in =
collecting
and archiving this information in the first place.
 
The PIUG 2004 Discussion List Archives contain many posts on this
recurrent topic (Re: Italian Patent Status Information):

Recently, there have been some minor improvements in this regard
(reported on this mailing list by Guido Moradei ca. a month ago).
 
Rather understandably, this item features as a high priority in the
agenda of the Italian Patent Information Users Group (
http://www.aidb.it <http://www.aidb.it> ). I carbon copy this email =
also
to the AIDB mailing list, so if there's any colleague from Italy who is
more knowledgeable on this matter, could you please contact Celine
directly ?

paid or not). Is there a free databank or something else available on
