Re: Edlyn Simmons named IPI-Award Recipient

I'd like to add my congratulations to Edlyn for the IPI Award. I would
echo many of Bob Buntrock's remarks. Edlyn has made an enormous number
of unselfish contributions to the 'back-room' activities of database
development, through the advisory committees and panels on which she has
worked. Her publications may not be as prolific as some, but are always
high quality and thought-provoking. Her qualifications in information
skills and patent law enable her to bring a unique light to bear upon
some of the sillier things that people do with patent information. Well
done and long may you continue, Edlyn.
