Legal writing has two citation guides that address this
issue, the ALWD Citation Manual and the "Blue Book."
The BB is from the Harvard Law Review, and many law
reviews use the BB formats. The formats in the two guides
have only minor differences.

Unfortunately, I don't believe either guide has a web
version or any kind of online reference, so you may be
stuck buying one of 'em. A large book store store should
have these manuals.

Is anyone aware of a standard format for citing web-based
publications or web pages as references in hard-copy
documents? Have any of the style guides addressed this?
