Indian Patents to be covered by Derwent World Patents Index

Thomson Scientific are please to announce that Indian patents will be
included in the Derwent
World Patents Index/R/ (DWPI) coverage from next month.

Both pre-grant applications and granted patents will be covered,
starting with data published on
December 4, 2004. Thus, DWPI users will have access to all Indian
patent documents issued
since the new law took effect.

By mid-year, Indian patent data will be available in DWPI within two
weeks from publication.
