Opportunities for retiree-experts in intellectual property analysis
The YourEncore Member Companies have ongoing opportunities for
retiree-experts to conduct analysis and mapping of the patent art.
These projects require a high-level analysis and involve close working
partnerships with project leaders from the Member Companies. The
projects are typically focused on a specific technology / product line.
Examples would be a) gap analysis of the patent portfolio protecting a
specific product line, b) mapping of the existing art for a proposed =
new
area of research, c) assessment of patenting opportunities (white =
space)
for existing technologies, and d) competitive analysis. The
retiree-experts working in these types of assignments possess technical
training and experience, experience in intellectual property analysis,
and a strong desire to achieve a superior result. The work is =
typically
done from the retiree-experts home, with meetings with the Member
Company project leader on an as-needed basis. The retiree-expert has
the option of accepting only those assignments which meet their =
personal
interests, skill sets, and schedules.
