Russian Patent Abstracts database now on STN

Russian Patent Abstracts (RUSSIAPAT) is now available on STN

RUSSIAPAT provides access to Russian patent information in English,
and is produced by the Russian Agency for Patents and Trademarks
(ROSPATENT) Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS).

RUSSIAPAT covers Russian patents from 1994 to date. Records contain
inventor and assignee data, patent and application information, and
International Patent Classification codes. English Titles and
abstracts are prepared intellectually, names are transliterated.

RUSSIAPAT also provides all patent drawings from the full document,
including from the front page, all drawing pages and all embedded
drawings within the full-text. The Graphic Information (GINF) field
lists the number and size of available drawings in a database record.

RUSSIAPAT currently contains 286,000 records, and is updated three
times a month. Automatic current-searches (SDIs) run every update.
