I have extended the simple tool for assisting people in analysing how US
patents are classified. This tool displays the class titles of a given
application in a frame alongside a frame that displays the claims. The new version also displays ECLA titles if they have been assigned by the EPO.
An example is at http://localhost/cxp/uspregrant20040234539cc.html.
This tool can be accessed from links labeled "Class/Claim View" in a
class-expanded abstract (see
http://localhost/cxp/uspregrant20040234539.html).
The claims are taken from the Espacenet site so will not be displayed if
not on that site.
The current tool covers the U.S. pregrants only. It's a bit "fresh" so no guarantees.
