PIUG Colleagues,
The article submission deadline for the fall 2005 Newsletter is near
(Monday, Oct. 10). Contributions by you that we would like to publish in the
newsletter include:
- Patent search techniques, patent analysis, technical intelligence.
- Patent information resources, eg. product reviews/comparisons, databases,
analytics software, patent office resources.
- Patent regulatory & patent legal issues of value to the patent
information community.
- Reviews of patent related conferences and seminars attended.
- Member news, eg. professional associations and employment promotions and
changes, retirement, awards.
- Patent & IP events
- Industry news of significance related to information
products/databases/software, patent legislation, regulatory bodies/patent
offices.
NOTE: information submitted about "Events" and "Industry News" may be
published as un-authored brief summaries in the newsletter. When submitting
an article, you may also include a bio of 100 words or less, and an author
photograph (in digital format). The bio and image are published on the
"Contributors to this Issue" page.
For those planning on making a contribution, or if you wish to discuss an
idea for this or future issues, please contact me or a member of the
Newsletter Committee at your earliest opportunity so that we can plan
accordingly. Submissions can be made directly to the editor.
