RE: CHI-type information

I didn't get the announcement either. I spoke to a Thomson rep yesterday
who said this transition was unexpected on their side. They have a new
vendor identified and expect to have "an even better" product soon.
Precise timing was not mentioned.

When I saw Aileen's original posting and Rex's reply I was surprised to
hear that there'd been an announcement that the CHI tools were leaving
Delphion. I don't recall seeing any announcement about the change, and
after trying to track one down on the Delphion website and Thomson's
news postings I finally found a press release on the ipIQ website at
http://www.ipiq.com/press_room/pr_pop_news_Tree_Snapshot.asp/. It says
ipIQ announced the change to its customers and that it's offering an
alternative to the Delphion data - an interesting spin.

Can someone point me to to an announcement I've missed? Is Thomson
planning to announce its plans to its subscribers and the general public
any time soon, or must each of us follow Rex's example and contact them
individually?

Hi Aileen,

While some of us may be inconvenienced by the lack of support of CHI
corporate hierarchy via Delphion, it was indicated in the
announcement that Delphion is working on its own version of corporate
hierarchy and I have confirmed that with Thomson Scientific already.
Constructively, this is only a temporary inconvenience.

May be worthwhile to contact IPIQ to enquire if there are other means
to gain access to this feature.
