Dear Edlyn, Barry & other PIUG Members,

Delphion customers who use the ipIQ data were notified of the change by
email during the week of September 5th. We chose to notify only
affected users since this change impacts only a small percentage of our
user base. Additionally, at the request of certain customers, =
including
P&G, we send broadcast email messages only to the account contacts so
they can distribute them to their users as they deem appropriate.

We sincerely apologize to any interested parties that missed the
communication.

Following this message, for your reference, is an excerpt of the email
communication that was sent to users of the hierarchy data on Delphion.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Neil Larque

As of September 25, 2005, the Hierarchy function will be temporarily
removed from the Delphion Corporate Tree offering due to the expiration
of our agreement with the third party that provides this data. This
change will also impact any Saved Searches or Alerts that include the
"assigneefamily" field, which contains the hierarchy data. We intend =
to
make corporate hierarchy data available to you again before the end of
the year and to work quickly toward greatly expanding our hierarchy
coverage.

At the same time, we will be temporarily removing the Ultimate Company,
Parent Company, and Unified Company fields from the Delphion Snapshot
feature because these fields are populated with the same hierarchy data
used in Corporate Tree.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Corporate Tree
Original Assignee data will remain on Delphion and will continue to be
updated while we work to replace the hierarchy data. And all of the
other 30+ fields of data will remain available in Snapshot.

We assure you that hierarchy data will be returned to Delphion =
Corporate
Tree and Snapshot and that we are working to get that done as quickly =
as
possible. When complete, the new hierarchy data will cover
significantly more companies and will be available for use with the WO
collection in addition to the US and EP collections.

Our current timetable calls for hierarchy data for the 650 most =
prolific
US filing companies to be reintroduced in December 2005. We will then
work through June 2006 to expand the initial coverage to include a =
total
of 2,500 companies - a significant increase from the 1,900 companies
covered now. Data will not only be included for the US and EP
collections as currently available, but will also include the
significant addition of the WO collection data for these companies,
making Delphion Corporate Tree a worldwide resource for comprehensive
corporate hierarchy information.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this causes. If you =
have
technical questions, please contact our Customer Support team through
http://www.scientific.thomson.com/support/techsupport/. If you have =
any
other questions regarding this change, please contact your account
manager or send your inquiry to <mailto:feedback_at_delphion.com>
