Hi John

Re the AU patents - short answer: no instant download source for older
AU patents, I'm afraid.

Long answer:
Anything published from Dec 1998 and later should be available from this
site: http://pericles.ipaustralia.gov.au/aub/aub_pages_1.intro (though
I'm assuming you already know about that). However it also includes
earlier AU patents that have an AU priority (i.e. non-convention,
non-PCT).

Anything that falls outside of this range, you can order from IP
Australia's publication sales department, at
salesteam_at_ipaustralia.gov.au, for AUD25.00 each. They are usually pretty
good re turnaround time, especially if you make the request urgent. If
you don't have an account with them (which I presume you don't), I think
you can pay by credit card by filling out this form:
http://www.ipaustralia.gov.au/pdfs/finance/g01068.pdf, and faxing it to
them before/after sending the email request. You probably won't won't
get it "today" (US time) though, given the time difference between AU
and US, :-(

Alternatively you can order it online from the firm IP Organisers
(http://www.iporganisers.com/), though I suspect they would need to go
through the above ordering process as well, unless they have a copy of
the patent already in their collection (Rodney, please correct me if I'm
wrong!)

Good luck,

Subject: [Piug-Discussion-List] Instant PDFs for late 1980s NZ
applicationsand AU B patents?

Hello PIUGers,

Does anyone know of an instant PDF patent source for late 1980s AU type
B patents or NZ applications, such that I could receive the PDF today?!
I have checked Delphion, CAS, Minesoft, and QPAT. Inpadoc is the only
one so far with the NZ records. Thanks!

Regards,

John
