Disclaimer: (As this discussion began with what is appropriate content for the list...) Ahem. In order to forestall any inclination to respond about appropriate posting to the list, please view this as an insightful, well-reasoned critique of the current US patent system. Thank you for your cooperation.

That said, on to the message.......

Ha! Very sharp! :-) But...why not combine the two? Ahem,
==========
I am looking for a patent searching professional to help in the filing of international patent applications on a method of doing business. The method involves the solicitation from numerous partners worldwide (henceforth referred to as "marks") of incremental sums of money. The inducement would be the proffering of a large percentage of phantom monies (c.f. Chewco, Enron) in exchange for transfer of said phantom monies from one account to another. The preferred embodiment would be a letter from such a country as, say, Nigeria, where a there is political instability and lots of available cash.

Setting aside the "immoral purposes" issue of the patent, it is expected that said patent application will be granted in the US, as there is no prior art in the *patent* literature covering this business method. Confirmation of this fact will be the first task of the desired patent searcher.

The qualified candidate will have extensive computer and database training as well as capability with a text editor and with the drafting of solicitation documents. Knowledge of English language is not necessarily a priority. Compensation is generous, up to 30% of the monies transferred. Applicant must supply own getaway vehicle. Principals with no principles only, please.
