Friends in PIUGworld,
Now that Pat has posted the retirement notice on the board, let me take
this opportunity to say a fond farewell to the many, many friends I have
round the chem and patent info world. In the course of the past 42 years 4
months and 9 days (but who's counting?) I have had the privilege of meeting
and working with so many great people. Some of them are gone now, but to
those of you still out there I say it's been great knowing you--and perhaps
our paths may yet cross again.
