I will be organizing a symposium memorializing the work of Mike O'Hara at
the New Orleans ACS National Meeting, Mar 23-27, 2003. Mike was involved in
online searching, chemical structure database development, patent
information, and Markush structure database development. Talks in any of the
above subject areas are invited. The format will be 30 minute talks (this
includes question time). Talks with a personal touch, from those who knew
Mike, are particularly welcome, but those who did not know Mike but work in
any of these subject areas are also welcome.
The online submission system for New Orleans is not yet active, so any
interested parties should contact me at this time.
