I'm a nerd. While I love technology, I prefer letters to email, pencils
to pens, and hard copy OG to the eOG.
Besides, the eOG doesn't allow one to write snide comments in the
margins of ridiculous patents!

Maybe I missed something, but from what I can tell, no one in PIUG has
commented upon or criticized the new e-OG now posted at the USPTO web
site at:
http://www.uspto.gov/web/patents/patog/
This seems like a significant development in the weekly search
function, but I could be all wet as I'm just a lowly attorney. :-)
Do you info pros have any use for this new data source? How can this
resource be put to practical use? Seems to me with a little web-based
programming, one might query this resource periodically and pull down
some neat, re-packaged information for consumption by those with a
need to know.
