I have found that Espacenet often does not retrieve US patents
equivalent to European patents (and vice versa) unless I search using
the priority number, rather than the patent number.

Can someone refer me to information explaining when equiv. patent
information was added to the Esp@cenet web site? It seems that
sometimes equivalent patents are listed and sometimes they are not
(when there are in fact equivalents existing). What is the range of
equivalent patent coverage? This information does not seem to be
covered in the Help Files or the Updates files.
