Hilltop Consulting has developed a new tool that may be of use to some of
the users of this list.
It is a Microsoft Excel Add-In that will automate the creation of patent
download hyperlinks within a spreadsheet. This Add-In will make it so that
anytime a US Patent number is listed within a cell, a hyperlink will be
created which links that cell to the corresponding page in the USPTO Full
Text and Image Database where that patent is listed. This will enable you
to view the full text of patents with a single click of the mouse, without
having to search for them individually. With just one more click, you can
view the images of the patent from the same page.
You may also use this tool to create links to patent documents on your own
Intranet or public web page. This Add-In creates multiple hyperlinks at
once. In testing, we were able to create 6000 hyperlinks in 8 seconds. Far
faster than manually creating the hyperlinks one at a time.

The Add-In works with Microsoft Excel 97, 2000, and XP. The zipped download
