InfoToday Article regarding withdrawal from PIUG 2002 Conference

Richard,

Let me reemphasize Friday's reply. I do not wish to comment.

Furthermore, let me also note that Infomation Today is the sponsor of
InfoToday 2002, a competing conference which would stand to gain from
any negative publicity concerning the PIUG Annual Conference. Because
of this glaring conflict of interest, Infomation Today cannot ethically
print your article.

While we may have a difference with PIUG 2002 regarding the handling of
their conference, it troubles me deeply to see a competing conference
use the guise of journalism to make such a brazenly unfair attempt to
profit from this situation.
