Have any subscribers to Patents International from IMS been having any
problems with the new version which is part of the Lifecycle group of
databases?
IMS brought this out at the end of last year, replacing the previous
version of PI. It moved to a different database platform and interface,
and is now accessible via a CD-ROM or via imshealth.com. Ever since the
change, we in GSK UK have had problems of one sort or another, both with
the networked CD (too slow to use) and the internet access (not all the
supposed functionality actually works for us). We are in touch with IMS
to try and sort it out, but I'm wondering if it's just us, or if others
have had similar experiences?
