Dear PIUG members:
Some of you may not want to hear this. But Alan's complaint brings up
similar concerns I have had about the program setting process for the
PIUG annual meeting. That is, major sponsors are essentially "buying"
large portions of the program. I thought that was the sort of thing the
PIUG founders wanted to avoid when the organization was established --
i.e., domination by the vendors.
