Dear all,
Having followed your discussion dealing with "the danish problem" the
easiest answer of course on this question is "From the Danish Patent and
Trademark Office".
Well this is quite a rude answer, and I think you deserve an explanation why
it is so difficult to choose the correct DK-numbers.
The problem is caused by the fact, that the patent applications are
published under the application number, but after grant it will carry a
registration number (plus an amended document code).
This fact has caused problems when esp@cenet was used to retrieve and order
DK documents.
Referring to the number mentioned in the discussion I can see, that the
number 130793 could be read as DK PATENT number 130793 C, but the fact is,
that it is danish APPLICATION number 1307 filed in 1993. (in our files it is
registered as appl.No. 1307/93). The patent carrying number 130793 was
granted in the early 70'.
As e.g. EPO publications DOES NOT get a new number but only a new document
code when they change status, this has caused the confusion.
We have reported the problems to EPO/Esp@cenet. A solution is expected.
To be sure to get the correct document be careful - compare all application
informations from espacenet - or send an order to us stating all number and
bibliographic details (e.g. a screenprint from espacenet) we will then
supply the corregt document.
You car order documents via pvs@dkpto.dk
Sincerely
Danish Patent and Trademark Office
