For corporations that reward inventors for issued patents, how do they typically handle the multiple patents that may be issued based on a single initial application due to continuations and divisionals? Does each patent get rewarded, or just the first patent that an inventor gets from a single parent application. Sometimes a single spec is used to support mutliple sets of claims, either due to restriction requirements or due to "mining" of a patent applications for multiple inventions.
