Announcement - Australian Patent Specification Now Online (Beta Release)
IP Menu is pleased to be able to announce that Australian Patent
Specifications can now be ordered online for electronic delivery. They are
available via IP Organisers Pty Ltd. IP Organisers Pty Ltd is an
Intellectual Property service company associated with Phillips Ormonde &
Fitzpatrick, Phillips Ormonde & Fitzpatrick Lawyers and IP MENU. Apart from
providing copies of Australian Patent Specifications, IP Organisers also
provide Intellectual Research, Management & Commercialisation Services.
The first online service IP Organisers is providing is the electronic
(email) delivery of Australian Patent Applications (AU-As), Australian
Patents (AU-Bs), and Australian Innovation Patents (AU-Is). Innovation
Patent are available free of charge whilst Australian Patents/Applications
are available for AUD$20 (+GST for Australian Resident Only). Delivery is
usually within 24hours, often quicker.
Users of the service should note that Australian Specification prior to
approximately 1998 are only available in microfiche or paper format. IP
Organisers obtains copies of the specifications from their in-house
collection, scans them into Adobe Acrobat PDF format, and emails them direct
to users. The service also includes a copy of the official status report
from IP Australia (the Australian "Patent Office"). If you would like to

IP Organisers will be introducing additional services in the near future,
giving users a fast, efficient and cost effective way of obtaining
Australian intellectual property information.
