Hello Paul,
The CLAIMS US Patents files provide this info in text fields for documents
in the database. The fields are included in various display formats, or you
can display them using the appropriate field codes for the host system you
are using. CLAIMS records also include a count of the number of claims. The
display fields are as follows:
Dialog has fig/drawings in FI, claim counts in NC
Questel/Orbit has both in NUM
STN has fig/drawings in GI, claims counts in CLMN

Can anyone recommend a non-image resource that lists the number of figures
or drawing sheets for US patents?
While various resources (e.g. USPTO, Delphion, MicroPatent) offer the front
page image containing this information, none seem to provide this
information in text format.
The only source I found so far containing this data is USPATFULL. Are there
other sources on the web?
