Hi all -
I was asked to find the patent # for the famous Brookhart patent on
late-transition metal catalysts for polyethylene from Dow and the University
of North Carolina. The patent (maybe application?) had over 500 claims and
was the largest patent issued to Dow. I came across Dow's US 5,866,663
(authored by Brookhart et al.), which has 309 claims and 537 examples listed
in part of the description, so I am thinking there may be other related
patents and this is more complicated than I originally thought. I was
hoping someone was familiar with this patent and could direct me to the
correct number(s).
