I would like to ask people to write to me at my DuPont address (below) if
you have something to write to me directly, rather than replying to my
Hotmail address. I do not read the vast majority of PIUG messages from the
Hotmail account since I just don't have the time to manage the list and read
each individual message. I wait and read the PIUG-L weekly digests* when
they come out rather than single messages to PIUG-L.
I'm sure that more than one person has wondered why I never responded to
them after writing me via Hotmail. If you write to me by just replying to a
message that I posted to PIUG-L using Hotmail, the subject Line would
indicate that it is a post to PIUG-L and not a message directly to me, and
would most likely be deleted wth the tons of spam that I get every day. It
is tough and a daily duty to clean this Hotmail account out or I will go
over quota within a day or 2. I have seen some of the messages but
definitely not all.
* The digest has not come out since 8/30/2000. I just notified the digest
readers the other day of the status of the digests. The problem has been
reported to Tecc and Derwent has followed up, several times since then, but
there has not been any resolution yet.
