Symposium Title: Recent Developments in Pharmaceutical and Biotech Patent
Information
Location: The American Chemical Society National Meeting, San Diego,
California, April 1-5, 2001 (exact date and time to be determined later)
The ACS Division of Chemical Information (CINF), and the Biotechnology
Secretariat (BTEC) are cosponsoring a symposium on patent information in
biotechnology and pharmaceutical subject areas, that will be held at the San
Diego ACS meeting. Suggested topics include patent searching, patent
bibliometrics, patent data sources, or use of patent data in an
organization. Any person interested in making an oral presentation on any
aspect of patent information is invited to submit an abstract. Submissions
should be made directly to OASys
(http://www.acs.org/meetings/sandiego2001/). OASys is scheduled to open for
submissions to the San Diego meeting on Sept. 11, 2000. This symposium will
be listed under BTEC in OASys. Presentations will be scheduled in 30 minute
blocks. A computer projector will be available.
