I will only confirm without going into the details, let Delphion explain it
to you, there is indeed a problem which was first discovered at the Swiss
Fed. Institute of Intellectual Property some months ago, IBM is working hard
on resolving this problem. Delphion does have somewhere on the site a brief
mention of the problem.

With best wishes,

Subject: IBM Patent Server

I have been getting some strange results when I use the IBM Patent Server.
I did a search today with the following results:

478 or 30,996,374 patents matched went to page 2 and
1,231 of 23,811,205 patents matched went to page 3 and
     1,514 or 30,996,374 patents matched

The change in results and number of patents seems to change dramatically
from search to search and page to page.

Is this a problem at my end or is there something strange going on at IBM?
