If it is so, am I right in believing that the original PCT applications in
Japanese which are not machine readable will be machine readable in this
phase? Would the translation facility on the fly offered by the Japanese
patent will be available for these new documents? If it is, it will be a
valuable resource for PCT applications in Japanese designating Japan. Bye
the way what happens to those applications which will not go into the
national phase, after applying for Chapter II provision before the expiry of
19 months after the priority date?
