DERWENT INFORMATION INVITES YOU TO A FREE SEMINAR:
Unravelling the Complex Strands of Genomic Patenting
Derwent Information is holding free 1/2 day seminars entitled 'Unravelling
the Complex Strands of Genomic Patenting'. The first two seminars are to be
held in Paris (France) on Tuesday 4 July 2000 and Brussels (Belgium) on
Wednesday 5 July 2000. Further seminars to be held in Boston, Mass. and
California during the middle of August (details to be announced soon) .
During these sessions we will outline the importance of patents and patent
information; followed by an overview of the global trends in patenting
biosequences, identifying the major players and technology trends. And
finally, we will describe how the GENESEQ and GENESEQ FASTAlert databases
can help research scientists in pharmaceutical and biotech companies keep
abreast of the latest genomic developments.
Places at the two European seminars are limited, so please RSVP as soon as
possible or before Wednesday 28 June 2000 as places will be given on a
'first come, first served' basis.
