There's still room for a another paper or two on the program of the August 23
symposium, which we'll be calling "Patent Information Sources, Old and New." If
you have any insights you want to share or if there are information sources
you've been wanting to evaluate, here's your chance! Remember, you only need a
summary of what you're planning to say - there's plenty of time to finish
writing before August.

Abstracts for the joint symposium are due on April 17, 2000. They need to be
filed electronically through the ACS's Online Abstract Submittal System (OASys),
http://acs.confex.com/oasys.htm/
which is a whole lot easier than the old paper-based way. If you can't get your
abstract finished Monday, don't dispair. You can send it to Andy Berks or me,
and we'll make sure the abstract gets included.

This will be PIUG's chance to wave the flag
