I recently required the complete specifications of three German 'A'
documents found by one of my alerts in Scifinder, and my attempts to locate
these on the various manifestations of Espacenet intrigued and confused me
somewhat so I decided to share these with you for comment and input.
I thought that I had understood at the EPIDOS meeting in Halkidiki that
searching for a patent on its own National Office site often provided
additional access i.e. the document in addition to the bibliographic
information often earlier and sometimes exclusively when compared with data
found on for instance the EP site or other national sites.
My findings are listed below:-
